Arvid Østnes

Arvid grew up on a farm in Gan in Fet municipality. He obtained his certificate of apprenticeship at Sørumsand Verksted and later completed his education as a mechanical engineer at Oslo Maritime College in 1981.

Arvid has extensive experience in the industry, including hydropower, automotive manufacturing, and railways. He has worked on everything from vacuum lifters to production lines and tool design. Arvid is known for finding his own projects in the world of engineering and has a passion for cars and music.

He is a versatile and skilled engineer who makes a significant contribution to Unstad.
