Privacy statement

 

Data controller  

On behalf of Unstad AS, the general manager has the main responsibility for the company's processing of personal data. The administration is responsible for the day-to-day processing, questions regarding your information are directed here.  

 

Personal data stored 

Customers, suppliers and other business relationships 

Unstad AS collects information about both potential and existing customers, suppliers and other business connections. This may include, but is not limited to; name, company, contact information and other information that is necessary to fulfill our obligations as contractor/provider.  

Processing related to recruitment 

Unstad AS sometimes makes use of recruitment companies for new hires. Personal information such as name, CV and contact information is deleted from our database at the end of the recruitment process.  

Employees 

Unstad AS processes personal data about its own employees in order to fulfill obligations as an employer. All employees are sent their own privacy statement and consent form upon employment.  

 

Purpose and basis for processing  

We process the information in order to be able to carry out our obligations according to agreement with our business customers and suppliers. The basis for this processing is Article 6(1)(b) of the Personal Protection Regulation. Any other purposes for using the contact information will require consent from the data subject in accordance with Art 6 (1) (a), or undergo a balancing of interests by the data controller. We invite our customers and partners to industry meetings and professional seminars following this alignment of interests. Those who receive the following invitations can unsubscribe from this at any time in the future.  

 

Collection and disclosure of personal data 

 

We store the personal data you have given our employees in connection with your order for our services.  

We will not share, sell, transfer or otherwise disclose personal data to others, unless we are legally obliged to do so. Your contact information is stored in our CRM system. 

 

Deletion of personal data 

The controller ensures measures against accidental and illegal destruction, loss and changes to personal data. Routines for storage time are reviewed regularly and the time for deletion of the information will depend on the nature of the personal data. This will depend, among other things, on how long it takes to fulfill an agreement we have with you, and what is necessary to comply with official requirements or legal obligations, including the Archives Act and accounting legislation 

We secure your personal information by both physical and virtual access and access control, as well as by encrypting sensitive parts of the information provided.  

 

Rights of the registered  

 

Unstad AS processes your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Act and applicable regulations. Please note that you have the following rights:  

 

  • Right of access 

  • Right to correction 

  • Right to deletion 

  • Right to limitation 

  • Right to protest 

  • Right to automated decisions 

  • Right to data portability 

  • Right to information 

Complaints can be made to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority about processing in breach of the rules.
