Technical support for work vehicles

Unstad delivers specialized technical support in vehicle engineering and brake systems across three parallel rolling stock procurement projects for the client. The projects involve different types of rolling stock with distinct technical and operational requirements, and Unstad contributes throughout the entire procurement process—from early-phase activities to final on-track testing.

In the initial phases, Unstad carries out technical and operational feasibility assessments and supports the structuring and development of requirements and technical specifications for relevant vehicle systems. This work ensures robust specifications aligned with both industry standards and the client’s operational needs.

Unstad also plays an active role in vehicle verification and validation through review of technical documentation, participation in testing, and follow-up of on-track trials. This includes, among other aspects, assessment of brake system performance, wheel slide protection, and relevant measurements to document safe operation and correct system functionality.
