Unstad has personnel with many years of experience in safety management and railway operations, as well as approval processes with the Norwegian Railway Authority (Statens jernbanetilsyn, SJT). Over the past two years, we have also developed similar expertise within cableways – both as an independent third party and as a manufacturer. We help you document that your cableway system meets the requirements for an acceptable level of safety in accordance with the Cableway Regulations.

• Third-party assessment of cableway systems, including control and monitoring systems, drive systems, load-bearing structures, station buildings, foundations, and towers.

• Technical calculations: static, dynamic, and fatigue analysis of cableway components.

• Re-design and technical documentation, including 3D scanning, technical drawings, and CE approval of components.

• Conformity assessment according to applicable laws and standards.

• Documentation of acceptable safety levels.

• Identification of safety components.

• Updating safety analyses and reports following major modifications, operational shutdowns, or restarts.

• Final protocol in accordance with EN 1709 and other relevant standards.

• Preparation and submission of application documentation for new operating permits in cases of:
