Yngvar Mihle-Koller

Yngvar is originally from Sarpsborg and holds a master’s degree in Mechanical, Process and Product Development, with broad experience in technical problem-solving, public procurement, and management. In addition to his master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, he also studied psychology at the introductory and intermediate levels.

His first job as an engineer was as Head of Design and Development for a mechanical company, where he played a key role in developing several products for subway stations and the small boat market. In this position, he also had personnel responsibilities, which provided valuable experience in leadership and team development. Through various positions, he has gained experience in public procurement, project management, and product development within both the oil industry and the rolling stock sector.

He has 9 years of experience in the rolling stock industry and, in recent years, has held roles within contracts and procurement, where he has developed strong expertise in public procurement regulations (including LOA and the Utilities Regulations) and strategic sourcing from the client side.

Yngvar possesses strong negotiation and communication skills, along with a sharp focus on strategic, results-oriented progress throughout the procurement process.
